Remebering Shaheed Bhagat Singh

Watan pe jo fida hoga...
Amar vo noujawaan hoga..
Rahegi jab talaq duniya...
Ye afsana byaan hoga..

When Lala Lajpat Rai opposed the Simon Commission, he was badly beatenby the British and Bhagat Singh and team avenged his death by killing(though mistaken identity), J P Saunders, D.S.P in place ofthe Police Suptd Scott. The famous incidence of throwing a Bomb in the Assembly, to make theirvoice heard in the corridors of British power, the famous trial, the singing of Mera Rang de Basantee Chola and coining the term ˜Inquilaab Zindabaad even today fills one with such pride and courageNo wonder these men are still looked upon as Youth Iconsand ˜Great Revolutionaries. .Let's therefore remember them patriotically on this day of 23rd March todayand try and adapt some of the principles for which they stood The teachings, slogans, thoughts which these great martyrs have givento the people of India are still remembered and are relevant even today as they were earlier.
