I am

IM SHARING YOU THIS SIMPLE POEM TO LET YOU KNOW HOW THANKFUL
I AM...
I am Thankful.... I can walk. There are those who have never taken their first step.
I Am Thankful.... I can see the beauty all around me. There are those whose world is always dark.
I Am Thankful ... I can hear music playing. There are those who entire life has been spent in silence.
I Am Thankful.... My heart can be broken. There are those who are so hardened they cannot be touched.
I Am Thankful.... I can move about freely and express my beliefs. There are those who live in constant fear.
I Am Thankful.... I have been loved. There are those for whom no one has ever cared. I Am Thankful.... I can work. There are those who have to depend on others for even their most basic needs.
I Am Thankful.... For the opportunity to help others. There are those who have not been so abundantly blessed as I.
I Am Thankful.... For the friends i have. There are those who have not any

Thanks,

JusT a ThouGhT oF U, LOVE AgaiN

we touch again
We love again Remember when we thought Our hearts would never mend And we're all the better for each other There's more to love I know Than making love Here no more confusion we see our lives We live our lives Remember when we thought We never would survive But now neither one of us is breaking There's more to love I know Than making love Some things never change Some things sometimes do And now I'm feeling strong enough to let you in And now neither one of us is breaking Now we know there's more to love Than making love And I'll remember you and making love
And
I'll remember you......

Thought For The Day

Your nature is revealed by your acts, gestures, looks, speech, food habits, dress and the manner in which you conduct yourself. Therefore, you must pay attention to ensure that your speech, movements, thoughts and behavior are all correct and filled with love and nobility, devoid of wildness and waywardness. You have to develop the humility to believe that you have much good to learn from others. Your enthusiasm, aspiration, resolution, capacity to work, knowledge and wisdom have to be directed towards the welfare of all and not utilized solely for your selfish ends. You should be broad-minded and cultivate all-embracing love. Living a regulated and disciplined life is very essential. Real education must train you to observe these limits and restrictions. You take great pains and suffer privations in order to master the knowledge of this world. Similarly, you follow with strict care the routine to develop your physique. Therefore, whatever be your objective, you must obey the appropriate code of discipline.Real people are those, who are filled with love. Their hearts are springs of mercy. They are endowed with true speech and their minds are filled with peace. Just as gold and silver are hidden deep under the earth, and pearl and coral deep under the sea, peace and joy also lie hidden in the mind. Desirous of acquiring these hidden treasures, if you dive inward and direct your mental activities towards acquiring these treasures, you become filled with love and peace. You must fill yourself with this love and live in the light of unsullied, unselfish and pure love.

Eight Lies Of A Mother

Eight Lies Of A Mother
This story begins when I was a child: I was born poor. Often we hadn't enough to eat. Whenever we had some food, Mother often gave me her portion of rice. While she was transferring her rice into my bowl, she would say, "Eat this rice, son, I'm not hungry.
"This was Mother's First Lie.As I grew, Mother gave up her spare time to fish in a river near our house; she hoped that from the fish she caught, she could give me a little bit more nutritious food for my growth. Once she had caught just two fish, she would make fish soup. While I was eating the soup, mother would sit beside me and eat what was still left on the bone of the fish I had eaten; my heart was touched when I saw it. Once I gave the other fish to her on my chopstick but she immediately refused it and said, "Eat this fish son, I don't really like fish.
"This was Mother's Second Lie.Then, in order to fund my education, Mother went to a Match Factory to bring home some used matchboxes, which she filled with fresh matchsticks. This helped her get some money to cover our needs. One wintry night I awoke to find Mother filling the matchboxes by candlelight. So I said, "Mother, go to sleep; it's late: you can continue working tomorrow morning." Mother smiled and said, "Go to sleep son, I'm not tired.
"This was Mother's Third Lie.When I had to sit my Final Examination, Mother accompanied me. After dawn, Mother waited for me for hours in the heat of the sun. When the bell rang, I ran to meet her... Mother embraced me and poured me a glass of tea that she had prepared in a thermos. The tea was not as strong as my Mother's love. Seeing Mother covered with perspiration, I at once gave her my glass and asked her to drink too. Mother said, "Drink son, I'm not thirsty!
"This was Mother's Fourth Lie.After Father's death, Mother had to play the role of a single parent. She held on to her former job; she had to fund our needs alone. Our family's life was more complicated. We suffered from starvation. Seeing our family's condition worsening, my kind Uncle, who lived near my house, came to help us solve our problems big and small. Our other neighbors saw that we were poverty stricken so they often advised my mother to marry again. But Mother refused to remarry saying, "I don't need love.
"This was Mother's Fifth Lie.After I had finished my studies and got a job, it was time for my old Mother to retire but she carried on going to the market every morning just to sell a few vegetables. I kept sending her money but she was steadfast and even sent the money back to me. She said, "I have enough money.
"That was Mother's Sixth Lie.I continued my part-time studies for my Master's Degree. Funded by the American Corporation for which I worked, I succeeded in my studies. With a big jump in my salary, I decided to bring Mother to enjoy life in America but Mother didn't want to bother her son. She said to me, "I'm not used to high living.
"That was Mother's Seventh Lie.In her dotage, Mother was attacked by cancer and had to be hospitalized. Now living far across the ocean, I went home to visit Mother who was bedridden after an operation. Mother tried to smile but I was heartbroken because she was so thin and feeble but Mother said, "Don't cry son, I'm not in pain.
"That was Mother's Eighth Lie.Telling me this eighth lie, she died.
YES,
MOTHER WAS AN ANGEL!
M -

"M" is for the million things she gave me,
"O" means only that she's growing old,
"T" is for the tears she shed to save me,
"H" is for her heart of gold,
"E" is for her eyes with love-light shining in them,
"R" means right ,
and right she'll always be,Put them all together, they spell "MOTHER

Santa Banta Jokes

Santa was booked into an Air India flight to Bombay. But as this was his first time in an aeroplane, he made a few preparations that were out of place. When the stewardess came around to take orders for the in-flight meal, Santa declared loudly, "I have brought my own lunch. Make sure you don't charge me for food and drinks!"So, as everybody was given their in-flight meal, Santa began spreading out his own home-cooked meal. The man sitting next to him was an American history researcher and was curious about the food."Excuse me, what is that drink?" he asked.Santa picked up the yogurt-based lassi drink and said, "Milk of India!"Then Santa took out several pieces of chappatis and started feasting."And what is that dish?" asked the curious American."Wheat of India!" replied Santa proudly. Finally, Santa took out some desserts. He offered some to the American."What is it?" asked the American."Sweets of India!" replied Santa. After the meal, everyone was settling down when there was a loud 'Pooooooooot!' sound (fart) from Santa."What was that?" asked the American, holding his nose in disgust.Santa replied coolly, "That's Air India."

Top Ten Reasons

Update: Due to the surprising popularity of this post, I feel I should be absolutely clear about my role as VP of Engineering for a Hollywood-based social media startup, BorderStylo. The opinions expressed here are purely my own and are not in any way endorsed by my employer. While I do not see our applications as directly competitive to Facebook, nor have I presented them as such, it would be disingenuous not to mention this. After some reflection, I've decided to delete my account on Facebook. I'd like to encourage you to do the same. This is part altruism and part selfish. The altruism part is that I think Facebook, as a company, is unethical. The selfish part is that I'd like my own social network to migrate away from Facebook so that I'm not missing anything. In any event, here's my "Top Ten" reasons for why you should join me and many others and delete your account.

Its simple maths really

Good day Dear Brothers and Sisters,Its Wednesday, May 5th, 2010

Its simple maths really
An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before but had once failed an entire class. That class had insisted that socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer. The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on socialism. All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A.
After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little. The second test average was a D!
No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F.

The scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else.
All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great but when government takes the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed.

Could not be any simpler than that.
What a profound short little paragraph that says it all "You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

THE NEW ASPIRIN IMPORTANT READ

HEART ATTACK ~ THE NEW ASPIRIN IMPORTANT READ.......
Bayer is making crystal aspirin to dissolve under the tongue. They work much faster than the tablets.
Why keep aspirin by your bedside? About Heart Attacks
There are other symptoms of an heart attack besides the pain on the left arm. One must also be aware of an intense pain on the chin, as well as nausea and lots of sweating, however these symptoms may also occur less frequently.

Note: There may be NO pain in the chest during a heart attack. The majority of people (about 60%) who had a heart attack during their sleep, did not wake up. However, if it occurs, the chest pain may wake you up from your deep sleep.

If that happens, immediately dissolve two aspirins in your mouth and swallow them with a bit of water.
Afterwards:- phone a neighbor or a family member who lives very close by- say "heart attack!"- say that you have taken 2 aspirins..- take a seat on a chair or sofa near the front door, and wait for their arrival and...~ do NOT lie down ~I have already shared the information- - What about you?

Do forward this message; it may save lives!
