It's on this day in the year 1931, the young trio of Shaheed Bhagat Singh,Shivram Rajguru and Sukhdev Thapar were hanged to death by the British Government in Lahore.Their Martyrdom proved to be one of the important turning pointin the Indian Freedom Struggle and the entire Youth generation started looking upto the active participation in the fight for Independence. Bhagat Singh, the most charismatic and with a Lion's heart was involvedin the Revolutionary activities from a very early age and was associated with Ghadar party in Punjab and afterward formed Hindustan Nau Jawan Sabha and later to become an active member of Hindustan Socialist Republic Association.
